Cheryl has 25 years experience in the criminal justice system; Legal Secretary for 9 years and Magistrate for 16 years. She has been making the kind of decisions that qualify her to be the next Clerk of Superior Court. Her priorities are:

During my thirty-two years of public service, I have had a unique vantage point to witness Brunswick County’s growth in population and economic diversity. Brunswick

As Clerk of Superior Court it has been my honor to serve Brunswick County’s citizens by insuring their impartial and effective access to the judicial system.                 Cheryl Cheers Wilson has served on the front line of Brunswick County’s judicial system for 16 years as a magistrate. She knows that the judicial system is about resolving problems. She has the personal skills to relate to all people and the work ethic to dedicate herself fully to her responsibilities. Her management skills are the result not only of her service as a magistrate but of her experience as a legal secretary for over nine years.
