Oct 11, 2006 - Novant Health came one step closer last week to bringing this brand new, state-of-the-art, 92-bed hospital to Brunswick County. Novant Health purchased 73 acres of county-owned property last week for $3.6 million for the site of their proposed facility.
The land acquisition was necessary for Novant Health to move forward with its Certificate of Need, state-mandated filing deadline of Nov. 15, Brunswick Community Hospital President and CEO Denise Mihal said. By Caroline Curran
